And it’s hard to do so when representatives of different parts of the data center value chain sit around the same table: manufacturers, a general contractor, engineers, and an industry association.
During the latest CRN Polska panel discussion, we talked about the key factors shaping the development of the data center market in Poland:
🌐 𝐀𝐈 – how it is changing the scale, location, and pace of new projects.
⚡ 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 – how power availability, grid capacity, and the development of renewables affect where the next investments can be built.
📈 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 – how projects are evolving from a few MW to campuses exceeding 100 MW.
👷 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 – Poland already has the expertise needed to deliver projects at this scale.
Robert Berlinski emphasized this last point: 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬. The question is how to leverage this experience to attract more projects and foreign investment.
Wojciech Karolczak, Krystian Pypłacz, Piotr Wojciechowski, Marek Piwoni – thank you for an open and practical exchange of views on the future of the market in Poland.
