Commissioning for one of Europe's largest liquid cooling systems completed

BCA Engineering Group team has completed the commissioning process for a data center project in one of the Nordic countries. Our role as the Commissioning Agent (CxA) included Functional Performance Testing (L4) of individual systems and Integrated Systems Testing (L5), during which real operating scenarios were simulated, including load variations and failure conditions. The entire commissioning process was completed within nine months and required close coordination between multiple project teams.

One of the key elements of the project was an advanced liquid cooling system. The commissioning and testing process went beyond verifying compliance with the design documentation – It was intended to confirm stable system performance under real operating conditions. More than 50 operating configurations were tested to identify the parameters required to achieve consistent and reliable performance.

In data center projects, commissioning is far more than confirming that individual pieces of infrastructure function correctly. It is the process of verifying that all systems operate together safely, predictably, and reliably. The outcome of our work was infrastructure fully prepared to achieve operational readiness from day one.
